The Millsaps Conservatory of Music, in conjunction with Millsaps College and the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, will offer the highest quality music education to aspiring musicians of all ages, regardless of skill level or economic background. Private lessons and classes will take place on the Millsaps College campus, in the Academic Complex building. Recitals and other musical presentations will be held in the 450-seat Recital Hall. The music facilities at Millsaps are excellent, with Steinway and Boston grand pianos in most of the teaching studios and practice rooms, and two Steinway D concert grand pianos in the Recital Hall and a 9-station piano lab for musicianship and group piano study.
Current Millsaps Conservatory of Music Students
To continue your studies at Millsaps Conservatory of Music and secure a spot with your current teacher, a registration fee of $75 is due by December 15, 2014. You do not need to fill out the registration form, but please confirm your tuition payment plan for the Spring 2015 semester with Rachel Heard, director of the Millsaps Conservatory. Bank Draft payment will continue without interruption through the June 10th payment. If you plan on paying the full tuition amount, payment is due by January 5, 2015.
If you would like to discontinue your studies at Millsaps Conservatory of Music and you are using the Bank Draft payment plan, you will need to let us know by December 15th, 2014 in order to stop payment. The final monthly payment for the fall semester will be January 10th, 2015.
New Millsaps Conservatory of Music Students
Please complete the registration form and return it to the Continuing Education Office at Millsaps College. Deadline for new student registration for private instrumental or vocal studies is January 5th, 2015.
