James E. Bowley
(Ph.D., Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion) is currently Chair of Religious Studies. He teaches courses in biblical studies, Abrahamic traditions, and religion and literature.

Shelli Poe
(Ph.D., University of Virginia) teaches Christian theology and practice, feminist and liberation theology.

Bennie H. Reynolds
(Ph.D., University of North Carolina) specializes in biblical studies and ancient Mediterranean religions.

Steven G. Smith
(Ph.D., Duke University), a member of both the Religious Studies and Philosophy Departments, works especially in philosophy of religion and the history of religious thought.

Lola Williamson
(Ph.D., University of Wisconsin) specializes in Asian traditions and contemporary North American religions.
