First, you may want to look at our Documentation page and our Parents' Welcome Letter, which holds a lot of information the various services here at Millsaps. If your student is having trouble accessing Major Access, the documentation may help you troubleshoot problems. If the password may need to be reset, please have the student contact the Helpdesk via phone (601-974-1144) and we can assist with resetting passwords. If you're visiting Millsaps and would like to connect to the internet, our page on wireless connections will help you get on the Guest network.

ITS User Services - Helpdesk - ITS User Services provides first level of support for network, computer, and telecommunications problems for the entire Millsaps campus. If your student needs help accessing Major Access or email, we can assist them. If you have any questions about computing at Millsaps, such as questions about what software we provide, our role in student move-in, or concerns about your student's computer, you can call or email the Helpdesk for more information.
ITS Student Computing - Residential Networking Consultants (ResCons) - ITS employs student workers known as ResCons to assist on-campus students with computing issues. ResCons are crucial to the initial setup of incoming students on the campus' network, and also assist with the installation of Microsoft Office and anti-virus software. If your student is having trouble, encourage them to contact ResNet for assistance. If you have questions or concerns about ResNet, please contact the Helpdesk and a full-time staff member will be happy to assist you.
