This program is not a major in itself but can be combined with any Millsaps major.

Affiliated with the Methodist Church since its foundation in 1890, Millsaps has educated generations of church leaders through its pre-ministerial program. In fact, it’s produced more United Methodist bishops than any other college or university in the country. The College is distinguished by a core curriculum infused with a spirit of philosophical and religious inquiry and every student emerges from Millsaps with renewed and re-affirmed spiritual beliefs. Guided by the faculty of religious studies and the College chaplain, students can customize any major with the proper courses in religion, philosophy and the social and behaviorial sciences that provide a firm foundation for professional study in a theological seminary.
