The Mary Ann Edge Memorial Golf Tournament has become of one of the most anticipated events of the year for the Millsaps College M-Club. Each year Millsaps alumni and friends gather for a day filled with fun and fellowship as we celebrate the life of one of Millsaps’ most beloved faculty members. For nearly three decades, Mary Ann Edge devoted her life to Millsaps College as associate professor of physical education and the men’s golf coach. In addition to Coach Edge’s numerous personal accolades, including a State Seniors Championship and being twice named the LPGA low amateur, one of her proudest accomplishments was leading the Majors Men’s Golf team to back to back Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference in 1992 and 1993.
We hope that you will join us in celebrating Coach Edge’s life and her accomplishments by taking part in the 11th Annual Mary Ann Edge Memorial Golf Tournament, which will be held on Monday, May 5, 2008 at Castlewoods Country Club. Tee Time is 9 a.m. All proceeds raised from the tournament will benefit the Millsaps College M-Club. The M-Club is a volunteer organization comprising alumni, parents, and friends, and whose sole purpose is to enhance the athletic experience of our scholar athletes. Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing you on the course this May.
