Nearly one month after fellow teammate Hunter Owen earned Millsaps' first SCAC
Offensive Player of the Week accolade, senior outfielder Jason
Hadley has been named the Player of the Week for games played
Monday, March 5 through Sunday, March 11.
The Perdido, Ala., native
went a combined 9-for-11 (.818) with 10 runs scored, seven
RBIs, three doubles and his first home run of the year as
the Majors
improved to 12-3 after sweeping all three games this past week.
Hadley
has eight multi-hit games through the team's first 15 games,
including three last week.
For the season, Hadley is batting .439 (ninth in the SCAC) with
an on-base percentage of .543 (sixth in the SCAC). He has 25 hits
(tied for seventh) and is tied for the league lead in runs scored
with 28.
Hadley is also ranked in the Top 10 in the league in RBIs
(18 - tied for sixth), doubles (9 - tied for third), total bases
(37 - ninth) and walks (12 - tied for third).
