JACKSON, Miss —John Fox, a senior right-hander from Evergreen, Colo., has been selected the SCAC Baseball Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 10 through Sunday, April 16.

Fox totaled 8.0 innings in two outings last week, giving up just three hits and no earned runs while striking out four.

The senior held the nation's top-ranked team, Emory University, to just three hits and no earned runs in six innings of work as Millsaps picked up the 6-5 victory. Fox struck out four and walked two.

For the season, Fox is 5-0 (tied for fifth in the SCAC in wins) with an ERA of 4.67. He has struck out 53 batters this year (third in the SCAC), and opponents are hitting .232 against the right-hander (fifth in the SCAC).
