CONWAY, Ark. — The Millsaps Majors took both games of a double header against SCAC rival Hendrix College earlier today in Conway, Ark. The Majors won the first game by a final score of 8-1 and the second 11-1. The Majors improve to 18-6 (9-3) and Hendrix falls to 4-17 (1-10).

In the first game of the day (7 innings) senior right hander John Fox (5-0) threw a complete game giving up only 1 hit. Fox struck out nine batters and walked 4. Garner Wetzel was 2-4 at the plate with 3 RBI and a home run – his third on the year.

In the second game of the day (7 innings) right hander Todd Kindler (4-1) scattered eight hits and only allowed one run. Kindler struck out three batters. First basemen Luke Morrow went 2-3 with a double and a home run, 1 RBI. Catcher Derrik Boland was 1-3 with 3 RBI.
