SEWANEE, Tenn. — The SCAC Championship Final game has been cancelled due to inclement weather. Millsaps College and Trinity University are to be named 2006 SCAC Baseball Co-Champions.

However, Trinity is to receive automatic qualification bid to NCAA tournament as a result of their first place finish in SCAC western division regular season.

The 14th ranked Majors are still hopeful of receiving an at-large bid to the South Regional Tournament. At-large bids will be handed out by the NCAA in the coming weeks.

The Majors finish their season with a record of 34-11.
