Lady Majors hit nine three-pointers in 70-57 win

Martha McDaniel's 18 points, including three 3-pointers, and eight rebounds lead the Lady Majors (2-3,0-0 SCAC) all-out assualt of the Huntingdon Hawks Wednesday night in a 70-57 win in the Hangar Dome.

Down 30-29 at the half, the Lady Majors stormed out to a early halfime advantage and lead by as much as ten points in the early minutes of the second half.

Jillian Compton's layup with 5:20 remaining gave the Majors a 14-point advantage and Miranda Rosar's two free throws increased the lead to 16 with 2:28 left to play.

McDaniel's jumphook from the free throw line with 16 seconds left was quickly followed by a Hawks jumper by Katy Harmon to end the game at 70-57 and give the Lady Majors their second win of the early season.
