The Millsaps Lady Majors (6-4, 2-1) shot 46 percent in the first half and never trailed in a 61-38 win over the University if Dallas Wednesday night in the Hangar Dome.

Jillian Compton led the Lady Majors with 13 points hitting three 3-pointers and Kelsey McKnight followed with 12 and three 3-pointers. Miranda Rosar and Leslie Frese finished with 11 points for the Lady Majors. Rosar had nine rebounds and Frese had seven. Sara Greer had five of the Lady Majors 11 steals.

The Lady Majors had 15 second-chance points and 19 points off turnovers in the win.

The Lady Majors welcome Univ. of the South-Sewanee and Centre College this weekend. The Sewanee game is set to tip-off at 6 p.m. Friday and the Centre game is set for 2 p.m. Sunday. 15 19
