MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Millsaps College Lady Majors faced the #1 seed DePauw University in the first round of the SCAC tournament on Fri., Feb. 24.  Millsaps fell to DePauw by a score of 80-61 in the contest.

The Lady Majors were never able to mount a strong offense against the high powered DePauw team, shooting only 39 percent from the field for the game. Going into the half the Tigers of DePauw held a 41-24 lead over the eight seeded Lady Majors.  DePauw never looked back in the second half, picking up their 24th straight victory. 

Martha McDaniel scored 22 points in her final Millsaps game. Miranda Rosar had 12 rebounds for the team. The loss brings the Lady Majors season to an end with a record of 8-17.
