Martha McDaniel had 18 points including four 3-pointers and Miranda Rosar
had 16 points for the Lady Majors (4-3, 1-0) Saturday night as they defeated
NAIA competitor LSU-Shreveport 62-59.
Sheena Gardner had ten points including a flurry of three 3-pointers
before the first half buzzer. The Lady Majors led 33-29 at the half. Dyamond
Hogg led the Lady Pilots with 14 points.
Jillian Compton had seven points and eight rebounds and the Majors shot
60 percent from the floor in the first half.
The Lady Majors return to action Jan. 12, at the start of a four game
homestand, against the University of Dallas. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m.
