The Sewanee Lady Tigers (11-2, 3-0) cruised to another SCAC win in Jackson
against the Lady Majors (6-4, 2-1) Friday night 63-51.
The Lady Majors did their best to contain the Tiger's low post game but
surrendered a 26-10 advantage in paint. That, coupled with 24 points given
up on turnovers, costs the Lady Majors the win. The Tigers also had 19
points off their bench compared to two from the Lady Majors.
Martha McDaniel was the only Millsaps player in double figures with 17
points. Jillian Compton had nine points and Kelsey McKnight and Miranda
Rosar finished with eight points each.
The Lady Majors will host Centre on Sunday in the Hangar Dome. Tip-off
is set for noon.
