Cross Country Team Looks To Future

The 2003 edition of the Millsaps men's cross country team was a young group with very little experience. The squad had only 5 runners, of which 4 will be returning in 2004. The 2003 team consisted of Drew Harmon, Ryan Day, Chris Spear, Jason Jarin, and Robbie Greenwood, the lone senior.

The squad competed in 6 events (USM, Millsaps, Mississippi College, Rhodes, Mississippi State, and the SCAC), finishing last in each, except for the Millsaps race where they finished 6th out of 7. According to Coach Eric Navarre, Harmon was the year's top performer and has lots of upside potential. Ryan Day showed good leadership skills for the team as they look forward to better times ahead in 2004.
