The Lady Majors picked up several honors on their way to 13th place in the Sout/Southeast Regional Meet in Atlanta this past Saturday. Carly Dessauer, Becky McDole, Nora Oliver, Ivy Settlemires, and Adryon Wong all turned in stellar performances. However, it was Dessauer who stole the show.

Dessauer finished the meet 12th overall after finishing 24th last year, setting a school record in the process. Due to her incredible performance on Saturday and throughout her career, Dessauer now holds the school records in both 5K and 6K distances. She is also the only Millsaps cross country athlete to ever earn All-Regional honors. Dessauer earned her second consecutive award.
