AURORA, Ill. -- Two days after Hardin-Simmons'
quarterback Justin Feaster beat out Millsaps' Juan Joseph
for D3football.com National
Team of the Week Honors at the quarterback slot, the duo team
up on Don Hansen's Football Gazette National
Team of the Week for Week 5. 
A total of 12 players
are selected each week at various positions with Matt
Penz from St. Olaf College and Jericho Toilolo
of California Luthern
University joining Feaster and Joseph on the list at the quarterback
slot.
The Edgard, La., native tossed five touchdown passes for the
second time in two seasons and hooked up with double-digit
(11) receivers for the fourth time
in
as many games, completing 32 of 56 passes for a
career-high 475 yards.
For the season, Joseph is leading the SCAC and ranks fourth
in the country in passing (336.2 ypg) while ranking first in
the league in total offense (323.2 ypg) and third
in pass
efficiency (152.5 rating). He has thrown 15 TD passes against
just two interceptions
in four games.
Joseph becomes Millsaps' first selection to the Football
Gazette Team of the Week this season after return specialist
Chris Jackson earned second team honors and defensive back
Marcus Harris was selected as an honorable mention at the end
of the 2006 season.
