Joseph and Kline Selected to Football Gazette National TOW
Duo pick up their second weekly awards behind SCAC Player of the Week honors

November 8, 2007

NORTH AURORA, Ill. Junior quarterback Juan Joseph and senior strong safety Ray Kline - both of Millsaps College - on the same week they were named SCAC Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week respectively, have been selected to Don Hansen's Football Gazette National Team of the Week.

The duo become the second and third Millsaps selections this season, with Joseph earning his second weekly accolade in another record-breaking season and Kline picking up his first via Don Hansen.

Joseph enters the Majors' final regular season game with 28 TD passes (two rushing) against just five INTs on 234-of-363 aim, throwing for 2,610 yards and hitting 21 different receivers. He has thrown for 300+ yards in 5-of-9 games, including seven with 3+ TDs.

Kline leads the defensive secondary with 14 passes defended, including three INTs and one 56-yards for a score, to go along with 36 total tackles (1.5 tackles-for-loss), a forced fumble and a QB hurry. He will be playing in his final game at Millsaps on Saturday when the Majors host Birmingham-Southern at 1 p.m.
