2007: Academic All-SCAC... played in all 10 games... one of three running backs for the Majors that rushed for more than 300 yards... ranked first on the team in yards per-rush (6.4) second in total rushing yards (369) and third in rushing attempts (56)... averaged 36.4 yards per-game on the ground... scored a team-best six rushing touchdowns... also caught 14 passes for 94 yards to average 6.7 yards per-reception... returned one kickoff for 18 yards... rushed for a season-high 80 yards on five carries (16.0 per-rush) in a 68-6 blowout of Colorado College, including a season-long 46-yard touchdown run.

2006: Played in six of Millsaps' 11 games... took the bulk of the carries for the Majors in the final three games... ranked third on the team in rushing yards (172) and carries (50)... averaged 24.8 yards per-game and 3.0 yards per-carry with a long of 20 yards... caught six passes for 11 yards to average 1.8 per-catch... rushed for a team-high 65 yards on 21 carries in the Majors' 34-12 victory over No. 14 Trinity that clinched the SCAC Championship.

High School: A three-year letterman in football at fullback and linebacker under head coach Eddie Guth at 5A Saint Paul's Episcopal... rushed for 1,026 yards his senior season... named Optimist Club Player of the Week and an All-Region Honorable Mention... also lettered three years in track.

Personal: Son of Ken and Lori Metzger... born and raised in Mobile, Ala... has two younger sisters, Lauren (18) and Katherine (16)... a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity... majoring in business.
