2005: Academic

High School: A
four-year letterman and three-year starter in football at quarterback
under head coach Shannon O'Brian at St. Benedict High School... totaled
over 3,500 yards in his career, breaking many rushing and passing records...
first player to rush and pass for over 1,000 yards in each category
in a single-season... offensive MVP and team captain his sophomore,
junior and senior seasons... team MVP junior and senior year... named
First Team Division IIAA all-State his senior year... inducted into
the Memphis chapter National Football Foundation and College Hall of
Fame, just one of 12 players selected out of the Shelby Metro area
(over 50 schools).
