High School: A three-sport athlete at 5A-District 4 Biloxi High School... lettered in football three years on the offensive and defensive lines for head coach David Russell... as a senior, he was team captain, named Gatorade Player of the Week and did not give up a single sack... received the Pat Patterson Award, an honor given to a senior football player who excels in academics, sportsmanship and character... also picked up three letters in track, two in powerlifting and one academic.

Personal: Son of Mark and Cindy Ward... born and raised in Biloxi, Miss... has a younger sister, Caroline (17)... a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and the Political Science Club... majoring in biochemistry (pre-med).
