CLEVELAND – In a field of 69 players that was dominated by larger schools this past weekend at Cleveland Golf Club, Millsaps finished 11th of 11 teams with a combined score of 669 for the two-day tournament on Friday and Saturday.

Arkansas Tech and North Alabama tied for first place with a score of 17-under (559) as both Andrew Richards and Brett Munson led their respective teams to strong showings.

Millsaps was led by sophomore Jerry Johnston who shot 14-over par (158) with scores of 80 and 78, while senior Jack Rader was a close second at 16-over par with back-to-back 80's. Jim Beindorf, Madison Field and Freddie Brackin each participated for the Majors.

Millsaps will be back in action Oct. 13-14 in Florence, Ala., competing in the annual North Alabama Golf Classic at Blackberry Trail GC.
