The Millsaps
Majors finished fifth in the Wildcat Invitational held in
Alexandria, LA behind the Univ. Texas-Tyler, host Louisiana College,
UT-Dallas, and LeTourneau University.
Junior Chuck Graybeal finished tied for 15th place with a two-day
score of 164. Graybeal fired an 86 on day one, but returned on day
two and shot with a 78 to lead the Majors.
Freshman Drew McDowell showed consistent play shooting 83 on both
days of the Tourney for a 166 overall tying him for 19th place overall.
Freshman Michael Ameen finised tied for 28th place after carding
a 83 on day one, but faltered slighly on day two with an 87.
Junior Chad Tobler scored the Majors lowest one day total on day
one with an 82, but carded an 89 on day two and finished two places
behind Ameen.
Sophomore Daniel Rice carded an 85 on day one, but scuffled oin
day two and finished with a 96 for a 181 total good for a 41 place
place finish.
The Majors finished ahead of Texas Lutheran JV, Belhaven College,
Mississippi College, Univ of Dallas and Concordia-Austin.
