SUWANEE, Ga. --
As announced by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) today,
forward Amanda Paschall and center midfielder
Callie Roth have been named to this year's All-SCAC Third Team.
This marks the first time since 1994 that Millsaps has
landed a pair of selections to the all-conference team.
Paschall,
the Tuscaloosa, Ala., senior and team captain was the leader
of the Majors offensive attack all season, earning a team-high
12
points
including
two assists, five goals and two game-winning goals.
Paschall recorded two multi-goal performances
on the season (2) in games at Sewanee and home against Huntingdon
College. She also picked up a season-high six shots (3 shots-on-goal)
in a school-record tying 9-1 victory over Huntingdon.
A native of Louisville, Ky., Roth earned all-conference third
team honors for the second-straight season, finishing tied for
second with Megan Sullivan in goals (4), including a
thrilling
game-winner
in overtime in the
Majors' final home game of the season.
Roth tallied eight points
overall (all goals) and was second on the team in shots (22),
shots-on-goal (12) and shot percentage (.182).
The Majors only lose three graduating seniors on this year's
young squad and hope to return a handful of prospects for the
2007 season.
