Majors Land a Pair on 2007 All-SCAC Third Team
Roth picks up third consecutive yearly accolade, Robichaux earns first

November 15, 2007

SUWANEE, Ga. – In exclusive voting by the head women's soccer coaches of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) and released late Wednesday afternoon, senior midfielder Callie Roth and sophomore forward Leslie Robichaux have been selected to the 2007 All-SCAC Third Team.

In her final season in a Millsaps uniform from Louisville, Ky., Roth played in 15 of 17 matches and ranked second on the team in points (13), goals (5) and assists (3) to help lead the Majors to their best regular season finish since 1994 at 6-9-2.

A Third Team All-SCAC selection for the third consecutive year, Roth was named to D3kicks.com's National Team of the Week for Week 9 after scoring a pair of goals in a span of 1 minute 37 seconds that pushed the Majors to their first league win of the 2007 season.

In her first season with Millsaps after transferring from Ole Miss, Robichaux made an immediate impact in the Majors' offensive attack. The sophomore led the team and ranked ninth in the SCAC in points (20) and goals (8) while tying for the team lead in assists (4).

Robichaux played in 16 of 17 matches on the year, netting the first two goals of her collegiate career in a 3-2 loss to Belhaven, scoring goals in the 29th and 61st minute.
