The Lady Majors are coming off a 4-2 win over LA
college on Saturday. The game moved the Majors to a 2-2 record featured
a hat trick from sophomore forward Amanda Paschall. Elise Diffie added
the fourth goal to give her three goals on the season.
Both teams had 13 shots on goal with Millsaps'
Kristin Barrios playing the better defense blocking three shots. Barrios,
a field player, is filling in for injured goalkeeper Mary Raines, who
will return Friday.
This weekend the Lady Majors welcome Trinity(Tx)
University on Friday, and Southwestern(Tx) University on Sunday.
The Trinity game
has been moved to Saturday because of Hurricane Ivan and it destruction
across the South. The men will play the Tigers at 10 a.m. and the women's
game will begin at noon.
The times for the
men's and women's contest with Southwestern on Sunday are still scheduled
for noon (men's) and 2 p.m. (women's)
