Freshman goalkeeper Elizabeth Sooby faced an onslaught of shots Friday night from the DePauw Tigers (6-5, 3-1), 34 to be exact, allowing only two to find the back of the net in the Majors (2-6, 0-3) 2-0 loss to the current SCAC runner-up.

Sooby had a season-high 22 saves in the loss and held the Tigers scoreless in the first half. Callie Roth, Erin Sanford, Bobbi Jones, and Hayley Barber led the attack for the Majors, but Tiger keeper Brooke Shipley shut them out.

The Majors return to Harper Davis Field on Sunday for a matchup with Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (6-4-2, 1-2-1). The game is set to begin at noon.
