ROCKCO, BENDER, MANLEY, AND LADNER EARN SCAC ALL-TOURNEY SPOTS

Shortstop Robin Rockco, center-fielder Crystal Bender, first-baseman Josie Manley, and pitcher Tammy Ladner were selected to the 2004 SCAC All-Tournament team.

Rockco, a senior from Gautier, Mississippi, became just the fourth player in SCAC history to make the All-Tourney team for three straight years. She batted .474 (9 for 19) with a double, home run, eight RBI, five runs scored, and a stolen base. The home run came in her last career at bat as she tried to rally her team to victory.

Crystal Bender, a junior from Aberdeen, Mississippi, hit .611 (11 for 18) with two doubles, two triples, three RBI, eight runs scored, and a stolen base.

Josie Manley, a freshman from Madison, Mississippi, batted .400 (8 for 20) with a double, triple, three RBI, three runs scored, and a stolen base.

Tammy Ladner, a junior from Gulfport, Mississippi, made the All-Tourney team for the second straight year. She posted a 3-1 record with 25 innings pitched, a 1.40 ERA, eleven strikeouts, and only one walk.
