LADNER LANDS PITCHER OF THE WEEK IN SCAC

Tammy Ladner, a junior right-hander from Gulfport, Miss., has been selected the SCAC Softball Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 8 through Sunday, March 14.

Tammy pitched 16 scoreless innings and recorded two shutouts for the Majors last week.

She blanked Belhaven in a 1-0 thriller on Tuesday and came back to shut down Hendrix, 7-0, in Millsaps' SCAC opener on Saturday. In her 16 innings of work, she did not allow a walk and struck out 11 batters.
