May 15, 2007

SUWANEE, Ga. -- After falling three votes shy of Rhodes senior Daniel Hammond (17) for the 10th and final spot on the 2007 All-SCAC Team, senior captain Russell Turley has been named an All-SCAC Honorable Mention for the third consecutive year, posting a 14-4 record in singles play at No. 1 and No. 2 and a 10-7 record in doubles action.

A product of Mountain Brook HS in Birmingham, Ala., Turley has compiled a career record of 36-24 (.600) in singles play and a 33-26 (.559) record in doubles while gaining Academic All-SCAC and All-SCAC Tournament Team recognition throughout his four-year trek.
