JACKSON, Miss -- For the second time in three seasons the Majors swept Belhaven by a final match count of 9-0.  Earlier this season the Majors beat Belhaven 4-0.  The win allowed the Majors to raise their season record to 7-3. 

The Majors started off the day with a forfeit at #3 doubles with Wes Hill and Trevor Harris taking credit for the win. Chris Rolen  also won by forfeit at #6. Russell Turley & Tim Shoptaugh won at #1 doubles 8-2 over Murove & Pierce, and Newbern & Scharr won the match of the day upsetting  the top team of Brewer & Kattengell who were playing #2 8-6. This gave the Majors a a sweep of the doubles and a 3-0 lead going into the singles.

Turley Clinched the win for the Majors with a win at #1 over Mario Kattengell 6-1,6-1. Tim Shoptaugh followed shortly after with a 7-6 (2), 6-2 win over #1 Andrew Brewer who was playing at the two position.  Michael Puckett crushed Alex Grubbs 6-0, 6-0 at #4. Wes Hill followed with a great win at #3 and a win over C.L. Pearce 6-0, 6-3 at #3. To finish the Belhaven team off 9-0 was Trevor Harris destroying Taps Murove 6-0, 6-4.
