MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Centre swept the doubles point as Emily Stewart is greatly missed.  Katie Anderson and Beth Piraino played admirably in a 8-2 losing effort to Nicole Dukes and Jackie Deal.  Abby Barbiche and laura Walters won handidly over Mia Cowgill and Allisa Vincent 8-0.  Beth Sadler lost convincingly 8-2 and went into the doubles with a scholarship.

Millsaps narrowed the gap to 3-1 with a win at #1 by Katie Anderson 6-7, default due to sickness.

Beth Piraino defeated Laura Walters 6-2, 1-6, 6-4 to continue the narrowning of the match to 3-2.Leslie Frese tied the score at 3-3 with her win over Caroline Kessley 6-0, 6-2.  Nicole Dukes got,  Centre one step closer with a the victory over Beth Piraino 6-2, 6-0.  Mia Cowgill fought hard  with Ashley Flesher, but proved to talented to challenge.  Finally, Leslie Frese lost to Caroline Keeler 6-0, 6-2.
