Freshman sensations Emily Stewart and Beth Piraino had great matches against #14 Hamilton College of the Northeast. However, their matches were not enough to secure a victory; the Lady Majors fell 7-2.
Senior All-SCAC member Katie Anderson played #7 ranked Sarah Coleman to a 6-3,6-2 close match. Undefeated number one duo of Anderson and Stewart won 8-4 to win the only doubles match for the Lady Majors.
Emily Stewart won at number three over Maria Powers 7-5,6-1 and Beth Piraino lost to twin Kara Powers at number two in 6-1,6-1.
All the Lady Majors played with pride and competed well but were over matched as they fell to 4-3 on the season.
