The Lady Majors fell to the top-15 ranked Mississippi College Women's Tennis Team. This brings the Lady Majors season record to 4-7.

for the first time this season, the number one duo of senior Katie Anderson and freshman Beth Piraino defeated the top duo of Sara Spraberry and Ashley Diaz bya score of 8-6. Anderson and Piraino's victory gave the Majors a 1-0 lead. However, it was not enough to propel the Majors to victory.

Soon after senior Mia Cowgill and sophomore Hillary Hamblen fell to even the score at one match a piece. First time partners Leslie Frese, junior from Birmingham, Ala. and sophomore Beth Sadler played a close 8-4 match to leave the Majors down 2-1.

Number one Beth Piraino lost to senior Ashley Diaz and All-SCAC team member Katie Anderson lost to Sara Spraberry at number two. Hillary Hamblen fell at number 4 and Mia Cowgill fell at number 3 and Beth Sadler fell at number five, before Leslie Frese helped end the match on a good note with her first victory of the year in what was only her second match of the season.

The Lady Majors will look to exact revenge on Tuesday's match with Belhaven at Belhaven College.
