Division III MIAA Conference Champions and perennial regionally ranked St. Mary’s College of Notre Dame, Indiana defeated the lady Majors, 8-1.  The Lady Majors fall to 4-5 on the season. 

Katie Anderson and Emily Stewart took their singles matches off to rest for the week ahead and recover from some strains.  The doubles team of Anderson and Stewart continued their winning ways with the Lady Majors lone victory; an 8-6 win over Caile Mulcahy and Kelly McDavitt.  This brings Anderson and Stewart to 6-2 on the season.

Beth Piraino played at the number one and had a very close match, but was eventually taken by Kelly McDavitt.  Hillary Hamblen also had a strong outing versus Tara O’Brien. 

The Lady Majors will prepare for rivals Belhaven and Mississippi College before a Memphis trip to play SCAC teams Rhodes, Oglethorpe, Centre, and Hendrix.
