CONWAY,
Ark. -- In
the SCAC Central/East Divisional this past weekend at Hendrix
College, Millsaps had another strong weekend on the
road, winning 3 of 4 matches and carrying a seven-match win
streak at one point to even its
conference record to 4-4 and 9-13 overall.
Freshman Kate Hall hit .350 with 60 kills over the weekend
to lead the Majors’ offensive attack, including a season

out
wins at 30-25, 30-28 and 30-27.
Hall tallied 17 of the Majors' 37 kills in the match and hit
.293 thanks in part to 23 assists from fellow freshman Hailey
Miranda and 11 assists from freshman Mallory Clark. Miranda
(10), freshman Erica Cook (10) and sophomore Dixie Krauss (7)
did the dirty work for Millsaps, combining for 27 of 42 digs in
the contest.
In a five-game thriller (30-22, 30-32,

its Saturday competition, Millsaps fell behind 2-1
in the
match
after winning Game 1 before rallying to win the
final two games by a combined six points.
The Majors hit .033 as a team in the third-game loss with
just five kills against four errors but rebounded to pick up
33 kills over the final two games and hit error-free in Game
5 en route to a .600 attack percentage.
Miranda set a new career-high with 48 assists that led to a
total of 55 kills in the match and posted a double-double with
20 digs whereas freshman Megan Dufresne dug 16 balls and senior
Ani Babinski picked up a team-high four aces to go along with
a pair of blocks.

in the match and set a new season and career-high with five
kills. Freshman Heather Keenan guided the Majors to their fourth-highest
service ace total this season, picking up five to add to her
SCAC-leading total of 56 on the season -- 17 better than Austin
College's Kaitlin Listol.

snapped at seven games, with the Lady Lynx overpowering the
Majors in three games (30-23, 30-19, 30-14).
