Where Are Our 2007 Graduates Headed?

 

Hannah McKnight - is working as a marine biologist for an eco-tourism company in Sarosota, Florida. Maryam Dogar and Anh Jiang will be doing research with Dr Sarah Lea McGuire to understand genetic interactions between several genes in Aspergillus nidulans.
Becky Lasoski - will be teaching coastal and marine ecology to school children grades 1-12 as an environmental educator at the Jekyll Island 4-H Center on Jekyll island, GA Tiffany Clade will present the results of her honors research on native and introduced honeysuckle at the Annuyal Meeting of the Ecological Society of American in San Jose, CA
Becka Hedges -is heading to Africa as a member of the Peace Corps to teach Biology Jessica Simpson - will be doing research on cichlid fish behavrior with Dr. Maria Abate at Boston University in the Researh Experiences for Undergraduate program

Leah Strickland will be working with Dr.Bernedette Connors to study genetic interactions between two genes involved in cell cycle progression in brewer’s yeast.

Elly McMillan will be traveling to Australia to study abroad this summer and hopefully entering LSU Nursing School in January of 2008
