Enid Lee, a teacher-educator, writer, researcher, and consultant will present "Equity Issues." This interactive workshop will highlight strategies that educators have used to address issues of language, culture, race, and class to provide equitable outcomes for all students.
In this session we will examine and experience elements of a professional development model for enhancing student learning and achievement through a process of embedding equity in the curriculum. Issues of language, culture, race and class will be addressed and the administrator’s role in the process will be explored through case studies of settings in which this model has been implemented.
