Millsaps ranks near the bottom of all schools in the ACS in both retention and graduation rates. There has been little statistical study of this problem, so that attempted solutions have not worked well. Good statistical data on drop-outs should be developed, so that correlations can be made across various segments in order to better target improvement efforts. Potential comparisons might include gender, socio-economic status, race, athlete vs non-athlete, greek vs non-greek, major, college grades, high school class rank, ACT scores, student life participation, campus resident vs off-campus resident, and distance from home.
