With finals over I can begin enjoying Christmas break! I have a busy one planned with a weeklong trip to North Carolina, a Trans-Siberian Orchestra Concert in Birmingham, a couple of Mississippi State basketball games (go State!), and then a week in Starkville, a week in Shreveport, a week in Las Vegas and a few days of work before moving back into the dorm. This break is going to fly by! But I'm sure I'll be ready to move back to Millsaps long before the break is over.
Report cards came today. Straight A's! (okay okay well three A's and two A-'s) but still, a great end to a great semester! Next semester I have some really fun classes planned. I'll be taking Swahili in preparation for a summer in Tanzania. Plus I'll be finnishing up my core classes (always exciting!) I think I am even going to try to sqeeze in an art class and a viola class just for fun! So all of those classes should make for a really fun and interesting semester.
This week I will start making plans for spring break ... I think I may do London this year! Okay I have loads and loads of presents to wrap so I will wrap this up as well!
Happy Holidays!

Well the year is really picking up with midterm tests right around the corner, although I still have time to squeeze in some fun weekends! This weekend I went down to New Orleans to see Better than Ezra play in the House of Blues. It was amazing! If you haven't seen a concert in the House of Blues, go! If you haven't seen Better than Ezra play before, go! Fun will be had by all! It was also Mardi Gras in New Orleans, though I did not stay for those festivities.
Next weekend I will be scooting out of town to Chicage to attend the National Convention for Coffee. Hopefully I will get some really good ideas for the coffee shops. Then just one week after that is Spring Break! Although I never quite get to the beach on Spring Break like most of my peers, I usually find myself enjoying the time off of school nonetheless. This year, the break just happens to be falling on St. Patricks's Day, so what better way to celebrate than to head to Ireland! Surely those Irish know the meaning of Spring Break as well! And since we have a pretty good bit of time for the break, I am going to revisit some of my favorite cities in the U.K. and France while I'm on that side of the world. But, of course, all of this fun will begin AFTER midterms. Oh well, perhaps that will make the trip that much more relaxing!
