The Else School of Management at Millsaps College has been recognized again by CEO Magazine as one of the top MBA programs in North America, and its EMBA program was also noted as one of the top tier global programs. The 2017 rankings were released today. Millsaps is the only Mississippi school included in the latest rankings set.
“This recognition by CEO Magazine reinforces what we have believed for years, which is that the Else School provides students with the finest graduate business school experience in Mississippi,” said Dr. Robert W. Pearigen, president of Millsaps College. “Students learn from an outstanding faculty, and gain real-world experience through active internships and programs in the community.”
CEO Magazine, a London-based publication, puts together the annual rankings with, according to their website, one simple objective – “to identify schools which marry exceptional quality with great ROI.”
“This is a tremendous affirmation of the quality of our faculty at the Else School, and it also speaks to the skills of our students,” said Dr. Kim Burke, dean of the Else School and a professor of accounting. “For both our MBA and EMBA programs to achieve this level of recognition speaks volumes about the work being done here.”
Formally founded in 1979, the Else School offers three graduate degrees: MBA, EMBA, and master of accountancy (MAcc). The Else School is accredited by the Association for the Advancement of College Schools of Business (AACSB) International and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
