A themed benefit party that will transition and showcase black genres, from the Harlem Renaissance era to the R&B plight in the 90s, in order to produce donations for philanthropic causes.

Millsaps Forum - Jason Ward Presents "Mississippi's Hanging Bridge and the Racial Politics of World War II"
12:30 - 1:30 p.m. - Academic Complex, Room 215
Historian Jason Ward will examine the pre-Civil Rights years in Mississippi as the point of origin for both black activism and white resistance. Ward is an assistant professor of history at Mississippi State University.
