Millsaps College Library Exhibit
The Library will feature an exhibit titled "Glimpses into the Ancient Past: Southwestern United States, Mesoamerican and South American Objects from the Banks Livingston Collection." Exhibits in the upstairs Archives Gallery will include "Discovery of Long Lost Mississippi Methodist Manuscripts" and selected materials from the "Trunk Documents of Muggie Hopkins."

The panel discussion is based upon the book Mississippi Entrepreneurs, edited by Millsaps alumna Polly Dement and published by the University Press of Mississippi, and will include several entrepreneurs featured in the book. Moderating the discussion will be Tim Medley, Millsaps alumnus and one of the people who was instrumental in the book’s publication. The panel will focus, in particular, on entrepreneurship in non-profit contexts and will feature Millsaps trustee Bill Bynum, President and CEO of Hope Enterprise Corporation; alumna Betsy Bradley, Director of the Mississippi Museum of Art; friend of Millsaps and honorary degree recipient Seetha Srinivasan, Director Emerita of the University Press of Mississippi; and David Culpepper, Professor of Accounting and Entrepreneurship and Chair of the ElseWorks Initiative at Millsaps.
