The Millsaps College Student Body Association will hold its 4th annual Last Lecture Series on Tuesday, April 7 at 11:30 a.m. in the Christian Center Auditorium.
By popular vote of the senior class, Dr. Ted Ammon, associate professor of philosophy, received the honor. The Last Lecture is delivered each spring by a professor the senior class most wants to hear. Ammon received a B.A. from Mississippi State University and master’s and doctorate degrees from Washington University.
The Last Lecture provides the speaker with the opportunity to present on any topic but as if it was the final lecture of the professor’s career. Previous recipients of this highly regarded honor are Dr. Sandy Zale, Dr. Catherine Freis and Dr. James Bowley.
