The Else School of Management at Millsaps College will host a panel discussion entitled "Postwar Economic Recovery" on Wednesday, April 30, at noon. The forum will take place in the Robert and Dee Leggett Special Events Center on the Millsaps campus, and the event is free and open to the public. The discussion will be moderated by Millsaps Executive in Residence Howard L. McMillan Jr. and will feature Aubrey B. Patterson, Chairman of the American Bankers Association and Chairman and CEO of BancorpSouth; local businessman and Millsaps trustee Con Maloney; and Millsaps economics professor Dr. Patrick Taylor. Each panelist will speak briefly, and the event will conclude with a question and answer session with the audience. "We decided to discuss postwar economic recovery because of the timeliness of the subject matter and as a reflection of the historical perspective we incorporate as part of the Renaissance MBA here at Millsaps," said Randy Boxx, Dean of the Millsaps Else School of Management. "This program also supports our mission to provide opportunities for the Jackson community to examine contemporary business topics that are pertinent to the local economy." Admission is free, but due to limited seating, attendees are asked to RSVP. For more information, call (601) 974-1253 or email mbamacc@millsaps.edu. |
