LESSONS AND MAKEUPS

These are arranged on an individual basis. If you have registered for 1credit you will receive one thirty minute lesson per week. A 2 credit registration will have two thirty-minute lessons or an hour lesson.

If you are unable to attend a lesson, please let the professor know in advance. These lessons will be made-up; however, if you fail to do so, the lesson will not be made-up. Lessons missed without prior notification could affect your final grade. If the professor must miss, those lessons will be rescheduled. Three unexcused tardies constitute an unexcused lesson and this will not be made up. As each lesson is graded, this could affect the final grade.

ADDITIONAL ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS

On Mondays from 3:00 to 4:00 there will be a repertoire class for all of my studio students. This will meet most often in the recital hall, but on occasion will be held elsewhere. A notice will be posted on the professor's door or bulletin board, so you might wish to check these. Students are required to attend these classes. There will be group exercises as well as performances.

The first Monday of each month there will be a Departmental Recital at this time. You are all required to attend this, also. If you must be absent, you will be asked to attend an alternate program.

Music majors and minors have additional requirements for attendance. Be aware of required attendance for the Performing Arts Department.
