GRADING

Each lesson will be evaluated for musical growth. Assignments of memorization, translation, and vocal exercises will be made, among others. With regular practice, memorization will occur readily. During repertoire class we will discuss topics pertinent to vocal development which should increase student readiness for performance. To achieve the grade which you desire, PREPARE, PRACTICE, and PERFORM.

Achieving proficiency levels will be an important part of the grading expectation this year. These will be discussed in your lessons.

There are many performances taking place this semester. Watch for announcements and schedules.

If any student in the class has special needs because of a learning disability or other disability, please see me after class to discuss necessary accommodations.
