PIANO CONCENTRATION STUDENTS: SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

1. All Piano Concentrators will be assigned to accompany two voice or instrumental students per semester beginning in their freshman year or upon arrival at Millsaps. Each concentrator must attend the student's voice or instrumental lessons when needed and also perform in repertoire class, for recitals and possibly for their jury exam.
2. In addition to the 1 concert report required in the syllabus, each of you are also required to write a second concert report for a concert of your choice. This paper must be at least 500 words in length and should go more in depth in your description of the concert. Please include your general reaction to the repertoire preformed and also your personal reaction to the performers presentation of this program. Both papers are due no later than one week after the event.
