Len Bobo

Len Bobo has taught organ at Millsaps for two years. Previous to this, he taught at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas for seventeen years and at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock for fifteen years. During that time he taught applied organ and piano, organ literature and pedagogy, music theory, and church music courses. He frequently performs recitals and serves as a clinician in the areas of organ and church music. Len is a composer as well, with four published compositions to his credit.

In 1997 he was selected as the distinguished alumnus for the Department of Music at Mississippi College. In 1986 he was recognized as Church Musician of the Year for the State of Arkansas. Professor Bobo is listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Entertainment, and Who's Who in the World.

He received his Associate of Arts Degree from Hinds Junior College, his Bachelor of Music Degree from Mississippi College, and his Master of Music Degree from The University of Tennessee. In addition to his duties as organist at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Jackson, he teaches full-time at East Central Community College and serves as adjunct instructor of music at Millsaps.
