ATTENDANCE

You will be allowed to make up work for a maximum of three missed classes to avoid any grade reduction. After three unexcused absences your semester grade will be reduced by 3 points (on a scale of 100) each time you miss another class. If you request it, a written make-up assignment will be given, which you should complete within one week of the absence date. It is your responsibility to ask me for the make-up assignment. I will not come to you. Quizzes may be given in the first minutes of class, so don’t be late! Tardiness will affect your Class Participation grade. If you miss an in-class quiz, you will be allowed to make it up only in the case of legitimate excused absences (if you see me before you are absent). If you are ill, I will need a doctor's signature.

OUTSIDE CLASS REQUIREMENTS: Concert Attendance

All Masterworks students are required to attend three (3) concerts during the semester. To receive credit for attending a concert you must file a Concert Report. (A list of concerts and requirements for Concert Reports will be posted on the course website.) It is your responsibility to look at the list of concerts at the beginning of the semester and make sure you can commit to three of them.
